Saw-Whet Owls at Rocky Point

Saw-Whet Owls at Rocky Point Newbury Port Blue
In October Volunteers at the Rocky Point Bird Observatory band these tiny migratory owls to monitor them on their journey. We have been lucky to visit the observatory twice, on midnight adventures. I created this new design for my daughter, to commemorate these awesome nature encounters.

This self-drafted jacket was sewn by J Brajcich using Spoonflower Polartec Fleece. Designs print beautifully on this fleece, it has a lovely soft hand, and just the right amount of stretch for garments.

Whether you’re adorning a bedroom or creating a nature-inspired accent wall, these designs add a touch of whimsy and wonder. You can find this colorway with coordinating fabrics in my Night Swim collection.
